In order to deeply implement the guiding principles of the 'Opinions on Establishing a Collaborative Education Mechanism between Schools, Families, and Society' jointly issued by the Ministry of Education and 13 other departments, as well as the spirit of the 'Opinions on Deepening the "Thousand Counselors Visit Ten Thousand Homes" Initiative' issued by the Party Working Committee of the Education Department of the Liaoning Provincial Committee and the Education Department of Liaoning Province, with the aim of further consolidating the synergy between home and school in nurturing talents, strengthening practical education measures, and truly embodying the values of inspiring through action, touching hearts with empathy, supporting with love, and educating with culture, to build a new paradigm for collaborative education, the school has launched its 'Love and Responsibility Walk Hand in Hand, Homes and Schools Nurture Together' Winter Home Visitation Program for the year 2024.

The Student Affairs Office has developed an implementation plan for the school's 2024 Winter Vacation Home Visitation Program, establishing a '1238' home visitation model that is characterized by a 'One Body with Two Wings and Three Supports', where 'Whole-person Education' principles form the core, and teachers and parents resonate in unison as dual wings, underpinned by a tripartite collaborative education system involving families, schools, and society. This comprehensive approach incorporates eight aspects: financial aid-based education, academic support, career planning, party member and cadre cultivation, mental health services, job placement guidance, school promotion, and overall quality improvement.

In January 2024, the school officially kicked off its winter home visitation campaign. Led by school leaders, the Student Affairs Office, college leadership teams, counselors, and class advisors, forming home visit teams on a college-by-college basis, they embarked on visits carrying New Year’s blessing packages personally written by faculty and students, along with carefully prepared gifts. These teams traveled to nearly 50 regions across 11 cities including Shenyang, Dalian, Anshan, and Benxi, reaching out to a total of 2,184 students, conducting in-depth home visits to 91 households, and engaging in virtual face-to-face conversations with 2,093 students through cloud platforms.

All counselors and class mentors convened parent meetings themed on "Raising Awareness of Mental Health Education to Promote Students' Physical and Mental Development" for all 252 classes throughout the school, genuinely placing the holistic growth and development of students at the heart of their actions and practical efforts. The school sincerely regards precise home visits as a crucial breakthrough and entry point for strengthening and improving ideological and political education work in higher education institutions in the new era, continually exploring innovative models for precision-oriented student ideological and political education.

"Love and warmth" traverse the digital realm and flow in real life. Parent meetings themed around "Mental Health Education" introduce parents to scientific parenting methods, thereby contributing to the holistic development of students' physical and mental health. The 'One-on-One Cloud Link' breaks through the constraints of time and space, extending the reach of home visits to families across the country. 'Face-to-Face Sincere Conversations' bridge the gap between home and school, enabling precise strategies for student nurturing.

Throughout the home visit process, school leaders and teachers comprehensively present the school's educational philosophy, unique features, and achievements to parents. They listen to parents' aspirations for their children's future, address concerns regarding academic performance, majors, postgraduate entrance exams, employment, among other issues. They encourage parents to actively participate in school education activities, offering suggestions and advice, thus playing a vital role in helping the school cultivate outstanding students who can bring honor to their families, contribute to the rejuvenation of Liaoning Province and Northeast China, and ultimately make a significant impact on national revitalization efforts.
